Abstract
1343056 Speed control of motors ALLMANNA SVENSKA ELEKTRISKA A B 27 May 1971 [8 July 1970] 17467/71 Heading G3R The speeds of a plurality of motors, which drive a common load, are controlled jointly for one frequency range of speed oscillations in the system, and individually for another frequency range of oscillations. In the embodiment shown, when the speed fluctuations are of high frequency, signals from tacho-generators 8, 9 on each motor 2, 3, which may be of the D. C. or asynchronous type, pass through high pass filters 14, 15 to individual speed and current regulators 16, 17 and 18, 19 respectively. When the speed fluctuations are low frequency, the signals are blocked by filters 14, 15 but are fed into a main speed regulator 25, along with an adjustable speed reference 24 to regulate the motors jointly. The individual speed regulators 16, 17 may comprise proportional amplifiers, the main speed regulator 25 may be a low pass integrating amplifier, all amplifiers having amplitude limits.
