Abstract

1342838 Photo-electric apparatus XEROX CORP 19 April 1971 [6 April 1970] 26010/71 Heading G1A The apparatus described in Specification 1342656 is modified in that a second photoelectric element V2 is provided on the same side of the sheet path as the lamp DS1, and a sample sheet S of the kind of sheets being supplied is retained by a leaf spring member 66 in the light path to the element V2. The circuit includes means for comparing signals representing the sheet material fed and the sample sheet to determine if there is double feed.
