Abstract

1342594 Conduits SIMPLEX POWER CENTRE Ltd 19 April 1971 [6 Feb 1970] 5691/70 Heading H2C [Also in Division E2] An electrically conducting locking member for securing a cover 12 to a channel shaped conduit 11 having inwardly turned lips 13, provides an electrical contact between the conduit and the cover, and comprises a member 24 which engages the lips 13 and a stud 16 which connects the member 24 to the cover 12. The stud 16 has a head with a screwdriver slot, a circular shank portion in an aperture in the cover 12, and a square shank portion to which member 24 is secured by a spring clip. Teeth formed under the head of the stud abrasively engage the surface cover 12. Member 24 is of channel section with flanges 27 which are folded over towards each other at the ends to provide portions which abrasively engage lips 13.
