Abstract

1341012 Soil-working implements; couplings P J PARMITER & SONS Ltd 19 April 1971 [6 Jan 1970] 600/70 Headings A1B and A1P A soil working implement, e.g. a disc harrow, comprises a frame F a "V" or "A" shaped bar frame assembly 12 pivoted in brackets 11, and a means, e.g. 'V' shaped strut bar assembly 14, for securing and holding frame assembly 12 as shown in Fig. 1 for mounting on a three point tractor linkage. The strut bar 14 can be released so that assembly 12 can swing freely and constitute a draw bar, for attachment to a towing vehicle. In the position shown in Fig. 1 the limb ends of frame assembly 12 can be locked in position by cross pins 13. Gangs 20, 21 of discs D are carried by top bars 22 pivoted on vertical axes and these bars can be locked in position by cross pins 24 in housings 23.
