1340749 X-ray contrast compositions BRACCO INDUSTRIA CHIMICA SpA 6 June 1972 [23 June 1971] 26306/72 Heading A5B [Also in Division C2] X-ray contrast compositions comprise 3 - [(3 - carbamoyl - 2,4,6 - triiodophenoxy) - alkoxy] - 2 - alkyl propionic acids of the general formula: in which Y is -NH-C 1-4 alkyl, morpholino, piperidino or pyrrolidino, n is 2, 3 or 4 and A is methyl, ethyl, propyl or butyl, or their physiologically compatible metal or amine salts, and a pharmaceutically acceptable diluent or carrier, for example in the form of capsules, granulates, tablets, dragees, globules, clisma, suspensions or solutions, and preferrably in micronised forms.
