1340393 Memory cores PHILIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd 6 Oct 1971 [9 Oct 1970] 46477/71 Heading H1H Ceramic articles, in particular memory cores are made from material in powder form by taking an indented disposable matrix which includes a synthetic resin, filling the matrix profile with a mixture of the ceramic powder with a liquid, removing the liquid from the powder, liberating the deposit from the matrix by removing the synthetic resin part of the matrix and subsequently sintering the resulting shaped ceramic article. Reference is made to the preparation of manganese-magnesium ferrite stabilized with ferric nitrate, copper-manganese, nickel ferrite and such articles may be made in annular shape. Organic binders on water may be used in the fabrication of memory cores.
