Abstract

1339901 Prefabricated shower cubicle PORTA-SHOWERS Ltd 21 July 1971 [21 Oct 1970] 50077/70 Heading E1A A prefabricated shower cubicle adapted to be readily erected from a kit of parts and releasably mounted on or stowed within a dished shower tray 13 for transportation purposes consists of a series of structural members 11a 11a1, 11b, 11b1, 11c, which are adapted to be releasably interconnected together as by means of suitable connections 12a, 12b, 12c, and to releasably receive wall panels 14a, 14b provided with fittings as appropriate. The tray may consist of a plastics shell having a base of rigid plastics foam material and an outlet pipe 16. The structural members 11b are bolted to the tray and have a channel section to receive the panels 14a, see Fig. 3 (not shown). A curtain runner 19 is releasably attached to a pair of structural members 11b for details of which attachment together with other minor details concerning the tray and connections and seals between the various components the Specification and remaining drawings (not shown) should be referred to.
