Abstract

1339527 Making rollers HANS VOM STEIN oHG 10 May 1972 [4 Feb 1972] 21837/72 Heading B3A [Also in Divisions F2 and B8] A roller (e.g. for a conveyer) comprises an end piece 14 and a tubular shell 10 (e.g. of metal) whose end edge comprises projections 41 and recesses 40 which engage recesses 42 and projections 43 on a peripheral edge of the end piece 14, the projections 41 being rolled or bent over. The projections and recesses may each have the same peripheral length. The roller may rotate either with or about its shaft 13. The end piece construction is also described, Fig. 1 (not shown).
