1339320 Microtomes TRIANGLE BIOMEDICAL EQUIPMENT Inc 13 Aug 1971 38090/71 Heading G2J A blade holder for disposable blades adapted to be mounted in a knife clamp of a microtome comprises a first block 20 having end portions for being clamped, and between these end portions a portion having a curved surface 21, a second block 36 having a matching curved surface 66, and a manually operable rotatable member to pivot the second block towards and away from the first block. The blade 50 may be slid into the holder from one side, pushing out the old blade, when the blocks are separated, as shown. When the blade is in place, the blocks are brought together, so clamping the blade.
