Abstract
1339184 Photographic exposure control: oplanatic lenses PENTACON DRESDEN KAMERA-UND KINOWERKE VEB 8 Oct 1971 47045/71 Headings G2A and G2J In an exposure measuring system for photographic reproduction apparatus such as a microfilm camera, an object station 1 is within the taking field cone of a lens 3 which images anything in this cone on the object station on sensitive surface 2 and a photo-cell 5 is arranged outside this cone such that light reflected from the original may be imaged on photo-cell 5 by an oplanatically corrected optical system 4. The optical system allows for part of the original to be continuously monitored by the photo-cell during reproduction. A rotating segment mirror (8) Fig.2 (not shown) may be placed in the exposure measuring light path so that part of an original may be marked with a light beam from a lamp system (7) and its reflected optical density measured on photo-cell 5. The positions of the light source and photo-cell may be interchanged.
