Abstract

1338512 Wigs D C ABBOTT 19 April 1971 [3 April 1970] 26102/71 Heading A4V A wig foundation comprises a member of stretch material having portions defining ear slots, a pair of first elastic members 16 each located at an end of an ear slot so as to extend above and behind the ear in use of the wig, and a pair of second elastic members 19 each defining a forward edge of an ear slot and extending upwardly to a temple area of the wig. The member of stretch material comprises a centre panel extending from the forehead over the crown of the head and then tapering to a distinct nape portion 13. Substantially semicircular side panels are attached to the longer sides of the centre panel. Wefts of hair of different lengths are attached to the foundation is groups 31-40 as shown.
