615,970. Combs. PICKLES, N. O. July 9, 1947, No. 2432. [Class 131] A hair-setting comb comprises a back portion a having a row of teeth projecting from each of the two longitudinal edges and having an upstanding ridge d, forming a finger-grip, cut through at intervals to allow the comb to be bent to conform to the curves of the head and to retain any desired shape As shown teeth b are longer than teeth c which are bent out of the plane of the back a and teeth b. In use the comb is inserted in the hair so that the teeth c are directed towards the head and engaged by the teeth b of the succeeding comb. Lug and socket connections f, e are provided so that a composite comb may be built up.
