1338108 Clothes conditioners J S DOYEL 15 Dec 1971 58195/71 Heading D1A A clothes conditioner comprises an electrode boiler and a steam discharge tube 38 extending from the geometrical centre 24 of a housing 12 to prevent water from being spilled if the conditioner is inverted or overturned. Preferably the handle 42 has a leg 42b which is sildable between positions within a portion 44 of the housing and extending therefrom when it is held by a locking member 52. A water measure 62 for measuring the maximum suitable quantity of water for pouring through the filler hole 20 of the conditioner may be fitted. In a development a filling funell 106, which is preferably pivotable in the housing, is provided. When, during filling, water starts to spill from the end 104, there is the maximum permitted quantity in the housing.
