Abstract

1337616 Optical projection apparatus FUJI SHASHIN FILM K K 17 May 1971 [18 May 1970 (2)] 15388/71 Heading G2A A projection apparatus includes a projector 4, a housing 1 having a screen 2 and an opening closeable by a door 3, a fixed mirror 6 and pivotable mirror 5. Light from the projector 4 may pass as shown to the screen 2. When the mirror 5 is moved from the position shown, where ferromagnetic plate 52 is held by magnet 12, to its other position, where a similar plate 53 is held by magnet 13, the projection beam reflects off the mirror 5 through the opening in the housing 1. As shown the mirror 5 and door 3 are operatively connected so that when the door 3 is opened the mirror 5 moves to its other position. The housing may be supported by three legs (7, 8, 9), Fig.1 (not shown), arranged so that for each of the two projection paths there is an imaginary straight line joining any two of the legs (7, 8, 9), which is at a right angle to the final direction of the projection beam. This makes it possible to alter the angle of inclination of the chosen projection path by the adjustment of only one of the legs (7, 8, 9). Extra legs may also be fitted to the housing.
