Abstract

1337405 Valves PICKANDS MATHER & CO INTERNATIONAL 27 Nov 1970 [11 Dec 1969] 56471/70 Heading F2V A valve for use in slurry pipelines has a seat 8 and a closure member formed of a rigid member 10 secured to the end of a pivoted arm 12 and carrying a polyurethane seal 9. The shaft 17 on which the arm 12 is secured is rotated by a handle 18. The co-operating faces of the seat 8 and member 10 are frusto-conical.
