1337290 Sulphonamido - anthranilic acid derivatives CIBA-GEIGY AG 5 Nov 1971 51638/71 Addition to 1189719 Heading C2C Novel compound (I) (including salts thereof) is obtained by standard methods. The following compounds are also prepared: 5 -(2 - amino- and -acetylamino - phenylsulphamoyl) - 2,4 - dichlorobenzoic acids (and hydrochloride of the amino compound), methyl 5 - (2 - amino - phenyl - sulphamoyl) - 4 - chloro- (anthranilate and N - furfuryl - anthranilate), 2,4 - dichloro - 5 - (2 - nitrophenyl - sulphamoyl)- benzoic acid, 4 - chloro - N - furfuryl - 5 - (2- nitrophenyl - sulphamoyl) - anthranilic acid, 5- (2 - amino - phenyl - sulphamoyl) - 4 - chloroanthranilic acid, 5 - (2 - aminophenyl - sulphamoyl) - 4 - chloro N - furfurylidene - anthranilic acid, 2 - (2,4 - dichloro - 5 - carboxyphenyl - sulphonylamino) - azobenzene, 2 - (2- chloro - 4 - furfurylamino - 5 - carboxyphenylsulphonylamino) - azobenzene, 5 - (2 - aminophenyl - sulphamoyl) - 4 - chloro - 2 - nitrobenzoic acid and N-(2-acetylamino-phenyl)-2- chloro - 5 - methyl - 4 - nitrobenzenesulphonamide. Pharmaceutical preparations showing diuretic, natriuretic and chloriuretic actions contain (I) as active ingredient; administration is enterally or parenterally.
