Abstract

1335922 Lime slaking PROEKTNY INSTITUT "ESTKOLKHOZPROEKT" 14 April 1971 9344/71 Heading C1A Quicklime is slaked by the addition of 3-10% of water based on the quicklime weight, the slaked lime being subsequently mixed with sand to form silicalcite. The slaking may be carried out during grinding in a disintegrator and additionally the lime may be re-ground after slaking.
