Abstract

1334963 Drainage systems for walls GLANSTOFF AG 30 Sept 1971 [29 Oct 1970] 45544/71 Heading E1A A wall 1 having a damp-proof course 9 and a damp-proof rendering 2 is provided with a coarse-pored filter layer 3 in the form of a web (5) of tailored, consolidated nonwovens of staple fibres and/or continuous fibres which are bonded to the rendering 2 and consist of synthetic polymers such as polyester, polypropylene or polyvinylchloride. The web has one side of relatively low porosity and one side of greater porosity and for other numerous minor details thereof Fig. 2 (not shown), and the Specification should be referred to. A drainage pipe 5 is also provided together with a footing 6 and trench back fill 4.
