1334040 Ultrasonic testing JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd 12 May 1971 [18 Feb 1970] 7742/70 Heading H4D A method of testing the correspondence of a pair of surfaces includes the steps of applying to one surface a film which is adhesive on both sides, the thickness of the film equalling the thickness of a bonding material with which the surfaces are subsequently to be bonded, mating the second surface to the exposed adhesive and testing the assembly for voids between the surfaces. The preferred method of testing is by ultrasonics.
