1333646 Roller press KLOCKNER-HUMBOLDT-DEUTZ AG 8 Sept 1971 [24 Sept 1970] 41933/71 Heading B5A [Also in Division C5] A roller press for agglomerating hot coal dust comprises precompaction screws 16 to receive the coal from inlet 17 and to press it on to a cross member 19, which extends parallel to the gap between contra rotating smooth rollers 14, 15 and carries equidistantly spaced narrow partitions 20. The partitions, in extending to near the roller gap, divide the flow of coal into several partial flows. The coal emerges from the rollers as a continuous sheet.
