Mined mineral-collecting means for a mineral mining machine, such as that disclosed in the referred to U.S.A. Specification 3353871, involves at least one portion-wing apron 64- being movable relative to another portioncentral fixed apron 24-to permit of varying the effective width W of the means, motor means 70 for causing such movement, and biassing means 66 for biassing the one portion outwards of the other portion. The motor means 70 and spring 66 are connected to linkage 74, 76 extending between portions 64, 24.
