Abstract

1332098 Dispensing package; packaging batteries P R MALLORY & CO Inc 4 April 1972 [7 April 1971] 15292/72 Headings B8C and B8P A plastics dispensing package for a plurality of individually removable hearing aid cells, comprises a case 12 having windows 22, 24, 26, 22A, 24A, 26A which expose part of each cell for viewing and testing, and a flexible cover 14 which is snapped over the case to close the case and hold the cells in position. The case 12 has a top wall 16, side walls 32, 44, and is divided into cell-receiving compartments by walls 37, 20. The cover 14 comprises a base, spacing columns 70, 72, hinged latches 74, 76 which engage the case 12 through apertures 80, and hinged doors 52, 54, 56, 62, 64, 66 having lips 40 which engage with ribs 36 of the case 12 to close each compartment individually. The case 12 has further ribs 88, 90 and the doors of the cover 14 have dimples 86 to hold the cells 29 in position in the compartments. A terminal card 90 with a tab 92 is placed inside the cover 14, the card 90 having an aluminium top layer 94 to facilitate testing of the cells and a dessicant body layer 96.
