Abstract

Box for storing film spools consisting of a disc-shaped base section with cylindrical side walls on which can be set a disc shaped lid section which with its cylindrical side wall in the closed state, grips the side wall of the base section. At least two bayonette-type guides are let into the side wall and consist of a groove which is closed at one side and was parallel to its edges. On opening the groove, a track which was at an angle or on a curve to the upper edge, connects with the bottom side of the groove. Projections are arranged on the inside of the wide wall of the lid secton and when the box is closed these lie in the groove. On opening, they lift the lid section by sliding on the track. Aligning gripper strips are arranged on the outsides of the side walls.
