Abstract

1330493 Master cylinder reservoirs GIRLING Ltd 17 Dec 1970 [10 Jan 1970 10 March 1970] 1319/70 and 11409/70 Heading F2F [Also in Divisions G1 and H1] A tandem master cylinder reservoir 10 of a vehicle hydraulic system has a magnetic contact device 23 in a wall 20 between chambers 22 which are fed through a common inlet 13. Floats 27 in each chamber include magnets 28 to influence the common contact device 23. The contact device and magnets may be horizontally mounted (Figs. 3 to 4, not shown).
