Abstract

1330410 Brake master cylinders GIRLING Ltd 22 May 1972 [11 June 1971] 27412/71 Heading F2F [Also in Division G1] A liquid level sensor is mounted in each chamber 32 of a brake tandem master cylinder reservoir 30. Each sensor has a float (15) which causes a break in an electrical circuit when the fluid level in the chamber falls and a manuallyoperable button (25) for manually breaking the circuit to check if the sensor is functioning properly. The reservoir includes an anti-surge baffle 34 integral with the top closure 33 in which the sensors are mounted.
