Abstract

1330095 Crop preservative ROHM & HAAS CO 28 March 1972 [2 April 1971] 14371/72 Headings A2D and A2Q A method of protecting a stored food crop against deterioration under moist conditions due to storage rot fungi comprises applying to the crop a fungicide, the fungicide being a zinc and/or sodium salt of a dithiocarbamic acid of the formula: wherein R is a C 1-3 alkyl group. The fungicide is preferably added in amounts of 0.25 to 2 pounds per ton of storable material. The treatment of wheat, corn and a bean-containing silage.
