Abstract

1329494 Injection moulding machines GRETENER AG 19 April 1971 [3 March 1970] 24378/71 Heading B5A In an injection moulding machine one mould part 12 is reciprocated by toggle lever means 4, 5, 6 through a distance which is less than double the length of an article moulded between mould parts 12, 24, the mould part 12 being pivotable through an angle α, in the open mould position, to permit removal of the moulded article. The mould part 12 is screw-threadedly mounted on a plate 11 which can be pivoted about an axis 22 by a piston-cylinder unit 13. An ejector ring 16 is reciprocated by a piston 20 connected to the ring 16 by a rod 21, plate 18 and members 17. The toggle lever system is operated by an hydraulic piston 8 and cylinder 9. Figs. 4, 5 (not shown) show hydraulic and electric circuits for controlling the operation automatically.
