Abstract

1328910 Mixing fibrous material SCHUBERT & SALZER MASCHINENFABRIK AG 20 Dec 1971 [23 Dec 1970] 58985/71 Addition to 1216148 Headings D1F and D1N [Also in Division Gl] Apparatus for the automatic mixing of fibrous material components in a predetermined ratio of the type specified in Specification 1216148, is further characterised in that the programme control means comprises switching lugs or cams reproducing the path of travel of the fibrous material removing means on a reduced scale and a sensing device arranged to be moved relative to the lugs or cams so as to reproduce the movement of the removal means on a reduced scale. The programme control means can thus be housed within the carriage of the container into which the fibrous means is placed after removal from the bales. The switching lugs are preferably adjustable and have marks dividing the length of path of travel true-to-seale. The drive of the motor moving the carriage is preferably connected to the programme control means via chains and sprockets, a slider carrying the switching means for sensing the lugs or cams being secured to one of the chains for movement therewith. The operation is as described in Specification 1216148.
