Abstract
1328065 Registered transfer PENTACON DRESDEN KAMERA-UND KINOWERKE VEB 19 Jan 1972 2654/72 Heading G2H In the production of a multicolour image by the successive registered transfer of individual colour images to a single sheet, a selenium drum 17, a sheet supply roll 4 and a sheet withdrawal belt 12 are actuated by a motor 1, Fig.1 (not shown) and xerographic .images produced on the drum are transferred to a sheet 56 held by a rotary gripper arm 37 (having gripper flaps 39 and 40) which is releasably magnetically coupled (together with a programme cylinder) to the drum. Rotation of the programme cylinder effects operation of a presser 53 (to supply a sheet), the sheet gripping action (by means of a pin 45), the sheet releasing action (by means of a pin 46), disengagement of the magnetic coupling, halting of motor 1 and delayed switching off of a transfer electrode 50 and a heat fixing device. The sheet is brought into contact with the drum by the action of a guide lever 49 lifted by means of a cam disc 47. On opening of the gripper mouth to release the sheet, the forward edge of the sheet is blown out of the gripper mouth by air from a nozzle 55. The reproduction system is operated with the aid of a steel band 26 which is drawn onto and from a reel 25 by means of pawl 30 and a stop 54.
