1326666 Brushes L J RUSSELL 16 Sept 1971 [11 Aug 1971] 37736/71 Heading A4K [Also in Division A5] A hair drying and brushing device comprises a brush 2 rotatably mounted on a handle 1 which carries a lever 3 for rotating the brush 2, and a dryer 5 on a support 4 mounted on the handle 1, the dryer being spaced from the brush and arranged to direct air from a supply tube 16 at the brush in a direction transverse to the rotational axis of the brush. The lever 3 rotates about the handle through less than a full turn and a spring may be provided to return the brush to a start position after release of the lever. Alternatively, the lever 3 may be arranged to drive the brush through a ratchet mechanism. The angular position of the support 4 about the handle 1 is adjustable. The brush 2 is readily removable for replacement by one of a different type.
