Abstract

1326414 Fluid pressure brake control valves WESTINGHOUSE BREMSENUND APPARATEBAU GmbH 6 Nov 1970 [8 Nov 1969] 52955/70 Heading F2F A brake control valve arrangement, for a fluid pressure brake system including at least two circuits, has in each circuit a slide valve 3, 4 for controlling fluid in the circuit and a seattype valve 11, 12 so positioned that it obturates the circuit in the non-actuated condition of the valve, the slide valve of the second circuit being operable by fluid pressure in the first circuit, or mechanically by the slide valve in the first circuit in the event of pressure failure in the latter. The slides 5, 6 of the valves are arranged in series coaxially in a bore 2 and may have different effective areas. Each circuit has an inlet 33, 34, an outlet 31, 32 connectible to a brake assembly and a return outlet 29, 30 connectible to a return line.
