Abstract

1326224 Mixing fodder E-F ENGELBRECHT-SCHNUR and K-H LEMMERBROCK 7 Oct 1970 [7 Oct 1969] 47773/70 Heading B1C A mixer for animal feeding stuffs has a mixing chamber 1, 3, 4 with inlet 2 and a central screw conveyer 7 feeding additional materials from hopper 6 and circulating the mixture in the chamber. A frusto-conical collar 11 surrounds the conveyer in the lower part of the chamber making an annular aperture 12 with the chamber wall, whereby separation of grain and powder due to different rates of descent is prevented. The chamber may have bars 17 to prevent bridging and the screw may have beater arms 16 at the level of the outlet 13 which may discharge to a grain mill.
