Abstract
1326089 Waste basket S T N R NILSSON 24 Sept 1970 45565/70 Heading A4A A waste basket comprises a container 10 provided with a storage roll 16 from which plastics bags may be torn, a suspension plate 24 detachably mounted on the outside of the rear wall 13 of the container, a lid 25 hinged to the suspension plate, and means located adjacent the rear corners of the container for supporting an open bag. These supports preferably comprise flanged projections 18 in the side walls 14 of the container and a projection 19 on the rim of the front wall over which the waste bags may be folded. The storage wall 16 is kept in the bottom of the container and is retained by the embossed ridge 15. In Fig.2, the suspension plate 24 is received in a depression 22 in the rear wall 13 and is secured to the container by hook 37 and fork 38 engaging lateral rods 29. The lid 25, which is hinged to the suspension plate at 43, has a depression 40 that deepens towards the rear of the container. A projection 48 in the lid flange 39 engages the resilient lip 19 of the front wall 12 and secures the lid 25 in the closed position. The lid may be urged open by a spring 45 attached to the suspension plate.
