Abstract

1325636 Dispensing petrol VEEDER INDUSTRIES Inc 30 Sept 1971 [13 Oct 1970] 45617/71 Heading A4T [Also in Division B6 and G4] Petrol dispensing apparatus includes an electric motor 34 driving a pump 32 for delivery petrol through a meter 35 to a dispensing nozzle 36. A unit 18, upon operation of a handle 52, rotates a re-set shaft 17 to zeroize volume and cost counters 15 and 16 prior to each petrol delivery. The output shaft 40 of the meter 35 drives the volume counter 15 and also drives a variator 42; the output from the variator depends upon the cost per unit volume of fuel and is coupled to the cost counter 16. Inputs 94, 17 and 22 operate a printing counter unit 12 according to the inventionabridgement groups G4 and B6-unit 12 issuing a ticket bearing the cost of the petrol delivered, the date and a serial number.
