1323827 Separating gases VARIAN ASSOCIATES 19 April 1971 [19 Feb 1970] 21968/ 71 Heading B1L A permanent gas containing a gaseous sample and water vapour is diffused through the three membranes 5, 6 and 7 so that the gaseous sample is removed in region 11, water vapour and permanent gas in region 13 and mainly permanent carrier gas in region 12.
