Abstract

1323622 Decanting apparatus DONNBACCHUS Ltd 19 April 1971 [2 Oct 1970] 22570/71 Heading B1D [Also in Division C6] An apparatus for fermenting, settling and decanting fermented beverages comprises a collapsible sack 10 contained within a rigid support structure 12 and having an opening 14 which may be closed or connected to an air-lock 22 by means of tap 16. When fermentation is complete the container is turned on one side so that sediments may settle and the clear beverage may be decanted off via tap 16.
