Abstract

1323388 Wire fencing C MALKMUS-DORNEMANN 27 Oct 1971 49948/71 Heading E1B A set of components for wire fencing comprises posts 1 of or including a portion of T section, barbed wire holders 6 having a sleeve complementary to the top of the post and a wire support 8 of or including aT section portion and a plurality of clips 3 which in use are bent around the cross-bars of the T sections to hold the wire mesh and the barbed wires in place. The clips are held against movement longitudinally of the support 8 by notches in the edges of the cross-bar, and may be similarly held against movement longitudinally of the post (not shown). As shown the clips are held from moving longitudinally of the post by spaced projections 2. The sleeve may be locked on the post by grub screws engaging between projections or in the notches, or in the case of notches by clips similar to clips 3. The barbed wire support may be formed in two adjustable parts which are locked in the adjusted position by rivetting. The recesses in the edges of the cross bar may be half-round, saw toothed or wedge shaped.
