Abstract

1323330 Regulating biological processes STIFTUNG ONOPHRIO 16 Oct 1970 49255/ 70 Headings A5B and A5E [Also in Divisions C1 and C6] Biological processes are regulated by adding to the system the active material obtained from phospholipid-containing animal or vegetable tissue by the process described in Specification 1,321,815. Reference is made to promotion of plant growth, including the malting of barley, the activation of yeasts, the stimulation of oxygen production in algae and to compositions comprising the active material for use as cosmetics and as a fertilizer. It is also stated that a hop plant which had been sprayed with a dilute solution of the active material remained free from parasites in contrast with unsaturated plants.
