Abstract
1322276 Heat pipes RCA CORPORATION 7 May 1971 [13 May 1970] 13638/71 Heading F4U A heat pipe comprises a flexible tubular envelope 11 containing a wick structure 17 saturated with working fluid, the wick structure comprising a first set of members 19 in transverse relation to a second set of members 21, with both sets extending transversely relatively to the longitudinal axis 14 of the tubular envelope 11. As shown, the first cross-members are orthogonol to and interwoven with the second cross-members, but they may be bonded at their cross-over points.
