1320839 Hydrogenation catalysts MITSUBISHI PETROCHEMICAL CO Ltd 15 July 1971 [17 July 1970] 33299/71 Heading B1E [Also in Division C2] Catalysts comprising rhenium and/or molybdenum intimately mixed with cobalt are prepared by uniformly and closely combining or homogenising a cobalt compound, which decomposes into metallic cobalt upon being heated in a reducing atmosphere, and a rhenium compound and/or molybdenum compound which forms a solid solution state with metallic cobalt upon being heated in a reducing atmosphere on a carrier.
