Abstract

1320677 Plumb-bob FLORIN Ltd 15 Oct 1971 [20 Jan 1971] 2824/71 Heading G1F A plumb-bob comprises a plastics container 1 having a reservoir for high density material 9. A closure 22 co-operates with a disc 3 to enclose the material 9, the closure 22 having an aperture 6 through which a cord 5 is threaded. A removeable metal point 4 may, in a modification, be replaced by a moulded plastics point. The closure 22 snap-fits over a co-operating container rim 7, as shown, or may, be screw-threaded, welded or adhered to the container 1. The point 4 screws in to an aperture 10 or may be a push fit. In a modification, the disc 3 is omitted, a closure 22 not having aperture 25. The material 9 comprises metal shot, a cast or machined slug or a metallic tube. The container may be formed by dip coating a slug.
