Abstract

1319759 Cam-actuated switches SCHALTBAU GmbH 26 Jan 1972 [26 Jan 1971] 3629/72 Heading H1N In stationary switch actuated by a pivoted over type cam follower the arm 5, Fig. 3, is mounted on a hub part 4 having adjustable lost motion relative to a second hub part 3 attached to the switch shaft 2. The hub part 4 has a integral abutment 11 engageable with abutments 12, 13 which are adjustable angularly around a track 10 in the adjusted position by screws 14 movable in annular slots (15), Fig. 4 (not shown). (In the example of Fig. 3, the abutments 12, 13 are shown in a position engaging the abutment 11 whereby there is no lostmotion.) Under conditions of lost-motion a torsion coil spring 16 has one end engageable with a projection 8 on the hub part 4 and the other end engageable with a pin 9 on the hub part 3 attached to the switch shaft 2, to act as a restoring spring in either direction of actuation.
