1319306 Herbicides containing dinitroanilines AMCHEM PRODUCTS Inc 17 Nov 1970 [20 Nov 1969] 54659/70 Heading A5E [Also in Divisions C1 and C2] Herbicidal compositions comprise a mono- N-substituted-4-butyl-2,6-dinitroaniline of general formula:- in which Bu is t-butyl or sec-butyl and R represents hydrogen or an alkyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl, alkenyl, alkyonyl, alkoxylalkyl or dialkoxyalkyl group with conventional extenders and optionally other herbicidally active compounds, e.g. S-ethyl dipropyl thiocarbamate and chloramben.
