1283163 Herbicides containing propanil & 2- chloroacetamides MONSANTO CO 6 Jan 1971 [7 Jan 1970] 648/71 Heading A5E [Also in Division C2] A herbicidal composition comprises 3', 4'-dichloropropionanilide and a 2-chloroacetamide of formula: wherein R, is 2, 6-dialkylphenyl or 2, 6-dialkylcyclohexen-1-yl in which each alkyl is methyl, ethyl or propyl, x is 1 or 2 and y is 0, 1, 2 or 3. The compositions find-particular application in combating barnyard grass in rice.
