1319278 Bis - (N,N - dialkylaminophenyl)- methanes EASTMAN KODAK CO 24 Sept 1970 [30 Sept 1969] 45557/70 Heading C2C [Also in Division H1] Compounds of the formula (in which each of R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>3</SP> and R<SP>4</SP> is C 1-18 alkyl, each of R<SP>5</SP> and R<SP>6</SP> is H, halogen, C 1-18 alkoxy or C 1-18 alkyl and R<SP>7</SP> is a substituted or unsubstituted C 1-18 alkyl, C 4-8 cycloalkyl or C 4-8 cycloalkenyl group) are prepared by known methods, e.g. reaction of an N,N-dialkyl-aniline with an appropriate aldehyde or olefin.
