Abstract
1319190 Ammoxidation catalysts STANDARD OIL CO 21 Sept 1971 [30 Oct 1970] 43888/71 Heading B1E [Also in Division C2] A catalyst has the empirical formula: A a B b C c Fe d Bi e Mo f O x wherein A is an alkali-metal, rare-earth metal, tantalum and/or niobium, B is cobalt and/or nickel, C is phosphorus and/or arsenic, a and c are from 0 to 3, b is from 0.1 to 20, d is from 0.1 to 8, e is from 0.1 to 6, f is from 8 to 16 and x is a number determined by the valencies of the other elements. The catalyst may be obtained by co-gelling the various ingredients and drying the co-gelled mass to an appropriate size or the co-gelled material may be slurried and spray dried.
