Abstract
1319121 Amino phosphoric esters WITCO CHEMICAL CORP 26 May 1970 25305/70 Heading C2P [Also in Division C5] Amine salts of a phenol adduct/phosphoric acid monoester, diester or mixture thereof, of which the phenol adduct is an ethylene oxidephenol adduct in which part of the ethylene oxide may be replaced by a minor proportion of another alkylene oxide and the adduct contains more than one alkylene oxide unit per molecule are used in aqueous solution as high pressure lubricants. The phosphate esters which may be mono-esters of the formula and di-esters of the formula where n is 1 to 6, may be reacted with a phenol adduct containing less than 6 mols of ethylene oxide per mol of phenol. The amine may be primary, secondary, or tertiary; straight or branched chain, saturated or unsaturated; and of aliphatic, araliphatic or aromatic character.
