Abstract

1318309 Refrigerating SANYO ELECTRIC CO Ltd 21 Aug 1970 [23 Aug 1969] 40391/70 Heading F4H [Also in Division G4] A refrigeration circuit comprises a bi-stable fluidic switch 130, See Heading G4P, which directs liquid refrigerant alternately to a freezer compartment evaporator 126 and to a cooling compartment evaporator 128. Refrigerant from condenser 122 is pumped by motor 120 to the fluidic switch. The switch includes control ducts 136, 137 containing heaters 134, 135 alternately energized by control unit 140 dependant on the temperatures in the freezer and cooling compartments. Energization of heater 135 vaporizes the refrigerant in duct 137 causing the refrigerant passing through the switch to be switched from output duct 132 to output duct 133. Energization of heater 134 causes the reverse switching. The control unit de-energizes the motor when both compartments are at the required temperatures.
