Abstract

1317985 Railway vehicles REX CHAINBELT Inc 24 July 1970 [7 Aug 1969] 35905/70 Heading B7L A vehicle for transporting luggage comprises a body 1 carried by a wheeled chassis, the body comprising a transverse recess bounded by relatively inclined base surfaces 18, 19, and two transverse walls, one of the walls having a pocket formed therein and bounded by a wall portion 6, walls 7, 8 of box-like portions 4, 5, and bottom sections 9, 10, 11, and the top of the other wall 14 having relatively inclined top surfaces 12, 13 which define a valley extending in the direction of movement of the vehicle. The surfaces 18, 19 are at approximately 90 degrees to each other. The body may be moulded from reinforced plastics and may include stiffening webs (not shown).
