Abstract

1317597 Dyeing tube WILHELM GEIDNER METALLWAREN-FABRIK KG 26 May 1970 [14 Nov 1969] 25257/70 Heading D1L A device for dyeing or bleaching yarns or filaments comprises a perforated cylindrical tube 1 made of elastically resilient material, the tube having a slot extending parallel to a generatrix of the tube, and which slot has edge portions which overlap when the tube is radially contracted due to shrinkage of yarns thereon. The tube has a ridge 4 which extends around the periphery of the tube adjacent each end thereof the ridges being spaced apart from the ends 11 of the tube and from perforations 3. The ridges 4 are approximately 2 mm high and may serve as an abutment face for a wire spider.
